Artist/potter Liz Mathews and writer Frances Bingham opened their first pottery and lettering studio in London in 1986. At Gabriel’s Wharf their shop offers contemporary ceramics, alongside unique paper‑based artworks inspired by the natural world and beyond. 

Liz Mathews produces seasonal collections of new work all year round, fresh from the kiln. Discover hand-thrown, decorated pots, plates, bowls and jugs making perfect gifts or a striking addition to your table. You can also find framed paper-based works, Thames-themed wall art, and beautiful printed books from established writer Frances Bingham.
