Fitness for the community
The Colombo Centre is a straightforward community gym that’s here for everyone. With a low-cost, contract-free membership, you can own your fitness goals, whatever they might be. Whether you are starting out or looking for somewhere to level-up your fitness, you’ll find the equipment, support, and confidence you need at the Colombo Centre.
The Colombo Centre has programmes for everyone. Local workers pop into the gym at lunchtime, local children play football and basketball on the outdoor pitches, and we run popular Feel Good Saturday sessions for over 50s and Family Fitness and Fun sessions on Sundays.
Our community classes are all either free or £2 or less. Through our partnership with Rambert, locals young and old can attend community dance lessons that cost between £2 and £3. And use of our sports pitches by football and netball leagues allows us to offer them free to local groups in the early evenings and throughout the weekend.
The gym
Low cost doesn’t mean low quality. Colombo Centre has plenty of equipment available, much of it brand new, including:
- Treadmills
- Cross-trainers
- Bikes and steppers
- Weight stacks, cable machines and plate-loaded machines.
Classes
Classes are included in your Colombo membership, including HIIT and Tabata. See here for the current schedule.
Fees
Our pay-monthly membership includes access to the gym and all classes, with no joining fee.

Corporate Membership
Many local businesses have accounts with Colombo meaning their staff get a discount on membership. Ask your workplace if they have membership, or contact 020 7261 1658 to ask about how your organisation can join.

Colombo is closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
