Oxo Tower Wharf is an award-winning, landmark building situated on the riverside walkway, part of London’s bustling South Bank and Bankside areas. It is home to some of the UK’s most innovative and internationally renowned contemporary designers, restaurants, cafes, bars and exhibition venues, gallery@oxo and Bargehouse.
At Oxo Tower Wharf, you will find two floors of studio space, home to a variety of designer-makers working across fashion, jewellery, ceramics, product design and more.

wagumi
Opened in 2011, 和組 wagumi is a place to find craft and design from Japan.
Director Ryoko Mutasono located her shop to the riverside at Oxo Tower Wharf to support Japanese local artists, artisans and designer-makers. Her studio brings her products to British and European customers who appreciate the craftsmanship of the work.
Stocking the work of regional producers, individual artists, design collaborations and not-for-profits, wagumi highlights the variety and fun to be found in things made in Japan. The result is a flawless showcase of craftsmanship and design, symbolising the essence of Japanese spirit.
The wa (和) in wagumi means “peace” and “harmony” and Gumi (組) can be translated as “team”.
Ryoko says she is very happy to be a part of the Oxo Tower Wharf community. Located on London’s South Bank with riverside views of the Thames, wagumi is proud to be a part of a great historic building, surrounded by many other craftspeople.

MONTABLE
John Song is a leather goods maker and founder of MONTABLE Leather Workshop.
MONTABLE is a brand of handmade leather goods and stationery products. In the workshop they specialise in making durable, bespoke leather goods, using traditional handmade tools and techniques. The product range includes bags, wallets, belts, stationery and lifestyle accessories, all made with the highest quality craftsmanship.
John has studied and worked in Italy as an artisan for more than 10 years and is happy to now be a member of the Oxo Tower Wharf designer-maker community.
Working with leather, John loves to create beautifully made leather goods which can stay with you for a lifetime and will tell the story of your life.
MONTABLE’s philosophy is that: "With a good heart, with a good leather, we can make good things".

JeDeCo
JeDeCo stands for Jewellery Designers’ Collective, and it is the first one of its kind in the UK. JeDeCo has been at Oxo Tower Wharf since 2012.
A non-profit run by independent designer-makers, JeDeCo has collaboration at its core. Each designer brings their individual fashion and cultural references to create their jewellery collections, offering an ever-changing selection to suit all tastes and budgets, from classic elegance to experimental design.
Each talented member has been selected for their unique design flair, individual style, altruism, specialisms, and techniques. JeDeCo’s variety in design leads to exciting group exhibitions. In addition to their unique collections, limited handmade editions and one-of-a-kind jewellery pieces, there is always something new to explore and collect.
Not only do all the designers hand-make their pieces in the UK, but they are also on hand at Oxo Tower Wharf, offering friendly and expert advice.
