Hartex brought a passion for nostalgia, sport and popular culture to Gabriel’s Wharf, becoming a must-visit destination for vintage clothing enthusiasts.
Founded by local entrepreneur Harry Sims, the independent shop offered a carefully curated collection of retro treasures, from vintage football shirts, caps and sporting memorabilia, to rare band and film t-shirts. Alongside its vintage collections, Hartex showcased Harry's own range of playful graphic t-shirts inspired by London life, sport and pop culture. From nostalgic references to iconic characters, the designs captured the creativity and humour that made the shop so distinctive.
While Hartex has now closed its doors at Gabriel’s Wharf fans can continue to shop a selection of vintage pieces online. You can also follow Hartex on Instagram to keep up with the latest news and future projects.
