Explore the work of over 60 SDC makers, showcasing contemporary craft and self-expression in the pursuit of innovation and excellence.

From Sophie Ambelas’ neon-coloured ceramics and Laura Quinn's sculptural glass to new textile works from Susie Vickery and Jean Littlejohn, the exhibition encompasses diverse disciplines with one commonality, the ‘Uncommon Ground’ on which they meet.

Founded in 1887 by leading figures of the Arts and Crafts Movement, the Society of Designer Craftsmen has cultivated generations of exceptional designer-makers across all crafts. Today’s members are proud bearers of this legacy; experimenting through their exploration of material and skills and continuing to shape UK contemporary craft.
