This year for London Craft Week at Oxo Tower Wharf, wagumi will feature some exclusive Japanese Lacquer ware in store.
wagumi will have a rare stock of Kishu Shikki lacquer-ware from Wakayama, featuring the maker Shimayasu, as well as some extremely challenging origami!
Shimayasu handles three lacquerware brands: Kishu traditional "Negi lacquer", modern lacquerware "Neo Japanesque Pan" represented by Kasumi Nerai and Shiraurashi - Bianne, and "Njeco Pan", which was launched with the aim to face global environmental issues.
