This one-of-a-kind experience is only open for a limited time and will include a variety of sugar and salt sculptures, salt sketches and salt animations all created by an array of well-known artists including:
Gala Bell - a multidisciplinary artist who specialises in the alchemy of matter and uses sugar to create contemporary installations inspired by ideas of value, taste and hierarchy.
Michelle Wibowo – a world-renowned sugar artist and cake sculptor who was chosen among 100 contemporary artists around the world to exhibit a life sized baby cake at Victoria & Albert museum in 2011.
Bashir Sultani – a multimedia artist who is internationally known for his stunning artworks that are created using stop motion animation with salt and black canvas.
The experience is free to attend with no booking required, and is open to all ages from 6 years upwards from 10am – 6pm on 8th to 9th September at gallery@oxo.
