Celebrate London Design Festival 2019 with special events taking place across the iconic Oxo Tower Wharf as part of Bankside Design District.
From 11 - 22 September Oxo Tower Wharf will be a hub of LDF activity with exhibitions, installations and events across gallery@oxo, Bargehouse, Courtyard and our designer-maker studios on the first and second floors. On Weds 18 September, we’ll be opening late for a chance to explore after hours.

UCA Farnham: Connected – The Makers’ Art

A collective of 20 MA graduates from the University for the Creative Arts, Farnham at gallery@oxo. This showcase of selected works are from some of the UK’s finest emerging craft and designer-makers.
Volume Creative – Take the Plunge

Volume Creative present an interactive project through a stand-alone immersive experience, depicting the beauty of our oceans. Discover the sounds of waves that stimulate emotion surrounding the detrimental changes happening to our seas and the rapid deterioration of ocean life.

Assembling Reciprocity
Venue: Oxo Tower Wharf, Courtyard

Event Type: Installation
Assembling Reciprocity is an innovative installation in the courtyard by two students at the Bartlett School of Architecture UCL: Fabrizio Tozzoli and Alfredo Ferrer. The installation utilises a self-supporting reciprocal timber design, made using advanced digital and manufacturing tools.
Oxo Tower Wharf is home to over 25 designer-maker studios, many of whom will be hosting workshops, demonstrations and special displays throughout the festival:
Innermost BUD 321 Giveaway

To celebrate the arrival of their much anticipated cordless lamp, Innermost will be running some special promotions for ‘Bud’ throughout London Design Festival 2019.
Be the first to get your hands on these rechargeable lights at the Bud 321 Giveaway on the late opening of their Oxo Tower Wharf Showroom on Wednesday 18th September 2019. The first 3 visitors through the door at 6pm can take away a free Bud!
All other visitors can receive 50% off Bud (£50) throughout LDF by visiting the Innermost Showroom at Oxo Tower Wharf (as well as popping in for a Ginnermost & tonic)!
wagumi: Brilliant Corners and Folds: Inkaren paper artisans of Tokyo
Venue: wagumi, Unit 1.08 [First Floor, Riverside]

Event Type: Meet the makers – Talk and demonstration.
Japanese paper craft company Inkaren will present the folds, pierces, ring binding, letterpress and other aspects of techniques that create their work, in a residency at the wagumi craft and design shop at Oxo Tower Wharf. Inkaren will also present a special ‘visit Japan notebook’ made in collaboration with wagumi.
Studio Fusion: Material Movement
Venue: Studio Fusion, Unit 1.06 [First Floor, Riverside]

Material Movement is a collaborative exhibition from four artists each working in a different discipline: ceramics, jewellery, painting and silversmithing. Artists Gareth Jones, Ria Lins, Tal Batit and Naama Haneman, who will also curate the exhibition, all share a common language through their creative process; each exploring the concept of movement and how this informs their own practice.
JeDeCo: From JeDeCo with Love
Venue: JeDeCo, Unit 1.10 [First Floor, Riverside]

In anticipation of Bond 25, jewellery collective JeDeCo pay tribute to all things Bond. Each designer will create a piece inspired by the film franchise to be displayed in the JeDeCo studio over London Design Festival.
Noodoll: Collaboration with 24Bottles Launch
Venue: Noodoll, Unit 1.18 [First Floor, Courtyard side]

Designers of super cute toys, Noodoll launch their new water bottle with a press evening on 13 Sept as well as offering 15% off throughout LDF in their shop.
Victoria Eggs: Special Discount for LDF

Victoria Eggs will be open for an evening of shopping on Wednesday 18th September from 4-8pm offering 30% off everything in store and 10% off trade orders placed during this time.
The Victoria Eggs studio is also open daily 11am-6pm.
