Julia Davenne: 1968-2024 | A celebration of her life in Art

Celebrating Julia Davenne’s extraordinary artistic journey, this exhibition brings together work created over more than three decades.

Educated at St Martin’s School of Art and the Royal Academy of Arts, Julia developed a distinctive, award-winning practice shaped by her years in London, the profound influence of northern Norway and, later, the Brecon Beacons in Wales.

In 2023, Julia was tragically diagnosed with the rare and incurable Creutzfeldt–Jakob disease and died, aged fifty-five.

This exhibition honours Julia’s life, talent and enduring creative spirit.  All net proceeds will support CJD research, in the hope that her legacy will make a meaningful difference.
