This weekend: Gabriel’s Wharf Arts Festival

This Saturday from 12-6pm sees the return of the Gabriel’s Wharf Arts Festival, a celebration of creativity and community at this artsy enclave nestled on the vibrant South Bank.

Enjoy an eclectic programme featuring Japanese drumming from Tamashii School of Wadaiko-Dō, acclaimed all-female choir City Academy Songbirds, guitar solos from mex.fS and Amber Honey, plus performances from spoken word artist Tia-zakura. Expect to see roving circus and comedy performances, and get stuck into creative activities from bunting-making to perfume creating.

Whilst enjoying the entertainment you can also sample the tasty food and drink from the many traders at the Wharf, including gourmet pizza, zesty Caribbean flavours, and delicious toasties. Take the opportunity to meet our wonderful shop owners, and maybe even treat yourself or a loved one to a unique item from our talented makers.

This year’s festival promises to be a fun and inspiring event, and best of all, it’s completely free!

We hope to see you there!
