Spring into London

London letters on South Bank observation point

We are excited to be part of the Mayor of London's 'Spring into London' campaign on the 'Lights and Bites London City Trail'.

The Mayor is inviting families and visitors to ‘Spring into London’ for a new season of free activities during February half term and beyond.

With free outdoor performances, immersive light installations, discounted theatre tickets and restaurant offers, there’s no better time to enjoy all London has to offer. Make sure you don't miss the London lights on our Observation Point, until 20 February 2022!

Lights and Bites London City Trail

Whether you're looking for iconic art and architecture, street food, bars and restaurants, or London’s most scenic walk - it’s all here.

See fantastic free light installations and enjoy great food and drink along the way.

Winding through the heart of London, starting at the Southbank Centre, take in the Illuminated River bridges and see the new luminous London sign on our Observation Point.

Then stop off at Gabriel's Wharf for design-led shopping, from jewellery and fashion to affordable artwork, as well as a wide range of cuisines, including delicious pizzas, colourful Caribbean lunches, and hearty toasted sandwiches. There is really something for everyone in this unique pocket of the South Bank.

If you're visiting from 18-20 February, make sure you come to our Half-term family fun event for face painting, balloon modellers, games, and special guest, Chase from Paw Patrol (!), to keep the kids entertained; while you enjoy live music and browse our independent retailers, or wine and dine in one of our many gorgeous gourmet restaurants.
