Bodo Sperlein is renowned for his deep appreciation of craft and the use of high-quality materials such as bronze, wood, marble, silver, and glass to create timeless designs. Bodo established his studio in 2000 and continues to work with global brands alongside his product lines. His repertoire includes collaborations and commissions across a multitude of industries, from furniture and lighting to technology and fashion. Through close collaborations with traditional artisan workshops, Sperlein continues to push the boundaries of design, guided by a strong commitment to craftsmanship. His ceramics and tableware collections are also appreciated by numerous Michelin-star restaurants worldwide, including The Five Fields and Pied á Terre.
His work has received international acclaim and is featured in major design publications. His designs are part of the permanent collections in prestigious design museums globally, including Die Neue Sammlung in Munich, and are represented by international galleries such as Les Ateliers Courbet in New York and 88 Gallery in London.
