Grace Colquhoun is a British designer creating bespoke garments for film, fashion, and bridal clients. Her work brings together precision pattern cutting, couture craftsmanship, and a bold, contemporary perspective.
Trained at Alexander McQueen and Savile Row tailor Gieves & Hawkes, Grace specialises in garment construction rooted in traditional techniques while pushing toward modern, expressive design.
Growing up on Mersea Island, the natural world continues to shape her creative direction. Sustainability is central to her practice, with a focus on circular fashion and reworking existing garments into distinctive, future-facing pieces.
Since graduating with a First-Class BA (Hons) from Southampton Solent University, Grace has worked across leading film and performance productions including Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Paloma Faith’s Architect tour, Westlife’s Twenty world tour, and BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing.
Alongside her design work, she has taught at Goldsmiths, University of London, leading workshops in textiles, pattern cutting, and construction - supporting the next generation of creative talent.
In 2016, Grace founded Grace Lane London, opening her studio at Oxo Tower Wharf in 2022. Both a working atelier and a private fitting space, it offers clients a direct connection to the creative process - from concept to completion.
