Global commercial real estate services, CBRE UK, has proved to be a committed partner to Coin Street, continuing to support our community and enhancing the lives of local residents.
A dedicated group of CBRE colleagues took on the challenge of the Big Half in 2025, raising £5,475 for Coin Street’s programme tackling loneliness among older adults. Their enthusiasm and determination helped shine a light on an issue affecting many across our neighbourhood, while directly supporting the activities and outreach that make a meaningful difference every day.
In December, CBRE joined us again to pilot a new volunteering initiative - our Coffee Morning Takeover. Their team went above and beyond to create a warm, joyful experience for 40+ older adults. They prepared sandwiches, cakes, and fruit platters, decorated the space beautifully, and even organised a festive quiz to bring everyone together.
Most importantly, the CBRE volunteers took the time to sit, chat, and connect with attendees, offering companionship, laughter, and kindness throughout the morning. The feedback we received from participants was overwhelmingly positive, with many highlighting how special and cared‑for they felt.
CBRE’s generosity, creativity, and hands-on involvement have made a tangible impact on our community. We’re incredibly grateful for their partnership and look forward to continuing to work together to support older adults across Waterloo and the South Bank.
