I'm seven years old and I love spending time at Coin Street. I have been going there since I was a baby. There are so many fun things to do there. I like going to clubs, like the sewing club, and I absolutely love the dancing sessions. It’s special when my mum is working and making lunches for all the children. I have the best time playing games with my friends and going to Community Days and parties. It’s always so much fun!
One of my favourite memories at Coin Street is from when I was at the nursery. I enjoyed every single day there! Being at Coin Street makes me feel more confident and happier because there’s always something new to learn and do.
I have lots of friends at Coin Street. We have so much fun together dressing up, cooking real food, and pretending to be princesses, adults, cooks, or mummies. There’s always something exciting happening!
My favourite game is Uno, and I learned to play it at Coin Street. I also learned so many other cool things like hip hop dancing, tap dancing, hula hooping, clay work, painting, table tennis, karaoke, sewing, and embroidery. There’s always a new adventure waiting for me.
Coin Street is a special place to me because it’s a big part of my life, and I’m part of this amazing community. I’ve learned how to share, take turns, and be more patient with others. I even graduated as a team Frog member when I was four years old in the nursery. The staff are so kind and really help us grow up to be confident.
What makes me most excited about going to Coin Street is seeing all the nice people. I love playing with toys and other children pretending I’m at work, being a teacher, or visiting the nursery to help tidy up.
My grandmother, Natalie, who also works at Coin Street, is always so happy and cheerful when she sees me at Coin Street. It makes me feel special to know she’s proud of me.
If someone has never been to Coin Street, I would tell them there’s so much to do, like sewing, cinema trips, swimming, and loads of spaces to have fun in. It’s a place where you can always find something fun and learn something new.
Coin Street is my favourite place, and I’m so happy to be a part of it!
