Alan Vallis often works to commission. His current Pevsner ring series features a totally different design ideal; the objective of presenting large specimen stones to their best advantage.
His stacking rings are inspired by travels to the Middle East with glorious decorative patterns, textures and colours. He has been producing stacking rings for a number of years but they have gone through many transitions; what makes them special is the numerous permutations that Alan can originate, dependent on the clients requirements.
