Stanley's Story

Stanley

I want to tell you about a special place called Coin Street Nursery. It's bright and colourful with fun murals and lots of flowers. I used to go there when I was little, and now that I'm eight, I still think about it because it was such a fun place.

Every day at the Coin Street Nursery was awesome. In the morning, I felt excited to get there because I knew it would be a great day. We would have naps after lunch, the food was always yummy and freshly cooked. After our nap, we got to play outside, which was the best part. My favourite activity was playing with water. We used jugs to pour water into different toys, it was so cool to see where the water would go and how it would splash.

One of the best people at the nursery was Neil. He was super funny and gave us piggyback rides, which everyone loved. Seeing Neil and the other staff members made me happy every day. I always looked forward to seeing my friends and starting our fun activities together.

The teachers and staff at Coin Street were nice and helpful. If I needed something, like if I couldn't reach a toy, they would always help me. They taught me a lot of things like the alphabet and numbers. They made sure the nursery was always fun by playing games with us and keeping us entertained. I always felt safe and cared for because they were always there when I needed them.

I made loads of good friends at Coin Street Nursery. We loved playing in the garden, especially in the mud kitchen and painting. The teachers helped us play nicely together and share our toys, which made playing even more fun. I was always a bit sad when it was time to go home because I didn’t want to stop having fun with my friends.

Now, my Dad works for Coin Street and that makes me proud. He told me about his job and how he helps fix things for people, either by doing it himself or getting someone else to do it. It's cool to know he's part of the same place that was so special to me.

If I could tell another person about Coin Street Nursery, I would say it's an awesome place. You get to have fun and the staff are super nice, funny, and caring. They make it feel like a second home where you can laugh, learn, and have a great time.

Looking back, Coin Street Nursery was a big part of my early years, filled with happy memories, fun learning, and lots of love.
