As well as focusing on the welfare of the children, all of our staff are highly invested in and well trained. They are all qualified to or studying towards a Level 3 in Childcare. This means they understand your child’s care and educational needs and can provide one-to-one care when needed.
The nursery team uses an informed educational philosophy, helping every child develop at their own pace. We are proud to say 100% of our parents agreed that their child is doing well at Coin Street Nursery.

All of our children are given two healthy, freshly prepared meals and snacks each day by our on-site chef, Jamila.
Jamila has been a great addition to our Coin Street Nursery family. The children have really warmed to her and look forward to her cheery smile each day. With support from Chefs in Schools, Jamila’s recipes are going down a storm, with the children often asking for seconds (including the babies)! We gave out some samples to our parents and the feedback was so positive we might have to start offering a takeaway service

Coin Street Nursery is one part of Coin Street, a social enterprise on London’s South Bank. Being a social enterprise, all of our profit goes back into the community. So, you know that your money does good for those who need it the most. Our community team have worked tirelessly throughout the Covid-19 pandemic to deliver 15,747 meals to people who need them. On top of this, we are proud to be able to offer affordable childcare in central London. Our costs include two meals and two snacks per day as well as all trips and activities. Not only will your child be receiving top quality care, learning and development, but any profit from your nursery fees will be put towards helping others.
Finally, we have taken extra measures to keep our nursery clean and our children safe as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. We have an enhanced cleaning system and extra hand sanitiser points; we have also scattered drop off and pickup times and put the children in learn and play bubbles.
