Applying for Homes at Coin Street

Close up of flats in Iroko housing coop

There is a huge demand for the flats and houses built by Coin Street. The housing co-operative community is stable and very few vacancies arise in our existing co-ops.

Coin Street co-ops allocate homes to people they consider to be in housing need, and whose households are the right size for the properties available. They also give priority to certain groups of people in housing need.

To date these have been:

  • Residents living in Waterloo or North Southwark or with a good reason for wanting to live in these areas.
  • People already living in housing co-operatives and needing transfers.
  • People in low-paid jobs in or near to central London – especially those working in key jobs such as nursing, teaching or public transport.

Applications are taken from the Lambeth and Southwark housing registers. To join a housing register, please visit the Lambeth and Southwark housing pages.
