Have your say in the Coin Street Survey

Coin Street Community Builders began as a campaign to be a voice for the local community and build a thriving neighbourhood for people to live, work and play. Forty years on, we still pride ourselves on listening to people in our community and responding to local need. The Coin Street survey is our way of checking in with the people who live or work nearby, or use our services, to understand your views and evaluate how well we’re meeting our goal of creating a thriving neighbourhood powered by social enterprise.

We’ve come a long way since 1984 and our fortieth year is a great opportunity for us to review the needs of our community. Today the Coin Street group provides housing, parks and gardens, shops and design studios, galleries, restaurants, a nursery and family and children’s centre, a gym and sports pitches as well as a range of activities for the local community. Further information can be found here: Passionate about our neighbourhood  We want to hear from anyone who engages with Coin Street to know what we’re doing right and how we can improve.

We have checked in with our community over the years and responded by providing what people needed – notably our nursery at the neighbourhood centre and the planned Doon Street Leisure Centre. The insights from this survey will be used across Coin Street to help us plan for the future.
