We are (slowly) opening our neighbourhood centre

We at Coin Street are slowly re-opening our neighbourhood centre safely and securely. On Monday 15 June Our Nursery re-opened alongside other parts of our estate, including shops and design businesses at Gabriel’s Wharf and Oxo Tower Wharf. Please check back here for our latest updates on specific locations and opening times.

Following government guidelines and detailed risk assessments, we’ve introduced measures to keep everyone safe when using our services. These include new signage on social distancing throughout the neighbourhood centre and across the Coin Street estate. We have new hygiene measures, separate entry and exit points, screens in reception and new room layouts to keep everyone safe.

Safety in the Nursery

When our nursery opened on the 15 June we added a number of additional safety measures also. These include splitting children into ‘bubbles’, where they are placed into separated groups of approximately 8 to 12 children. Each bubble will have a qualified first aider, a first aid kit and PPE for all staff.

We also have procedures in place to help support the emotional wellbeing of children during this resettling phase. We have a full programme of settling in activities, a re-settling guide for parents and staff have been trained to support children returning to nursery.

Online activities

For those services not yet operating on a face to face basis, we are continuing to deliver these online for the time being – details can be found  here on Twitter and on Facebook.

Although things at Coin Street will look different, our commitment to creating an inspirational neighbourhood hasn’t changed. We are looking forward to seeing you (safely) soon!
