The Green Room

The Green Room interior

The Green Room is a relaxed restaurant, bar and garden. It was developed by Coin Street in collaboration with the National Theatre.

The Green Room’s casual menu was created by the National Theatre’s executive chef, Simon Flint and focuses on locally sourced quality ingredients. Inside you’ll find an airy, contemporary space featuring props and scenery recycled from National Theatre shows.

Situated next to Rambert Dance Studios and behind the National Theatre on London’s South Bank, The Green Room is a surrounded by garden designed and maintained by the Bankside Open Spaces Trust with volunteers from the theatre and local area.

Take a look at the tempting menu. Find something for the kids and plan the perfect dinner party with a delicious group menu.

The Green Room building, designed by Benjamin Marks, won the award in the Temporary category at New London Architecture Awards.
