Are you highly organised and unflappable? Do you like a busy work place with plenty of staff and children to interact with, and are you comfortable in a nursery setting?
If so, then this could just be the job for you!
Coin Street Community Builders is part of a central London community creating an inspirational neighbourhood. We have been doing that since 1984. We have transformed a largely derelict area into a thriving place for people to live, work and visit by creating co-operative homes, public realm shops, restaurants and meeting spaces.
A big part of our neighbourhood centre is our Family and Children’s Centre which offers families and children high quality and affordable programmes, providing integrated childcare and early years’ education. Whether it is our 84-place nursery, facilitated play sessions, parenting courses, peer support groups, family exercise, counselling or one to one support for parents and carers we are here to help children get the best start they can in life.
We are looking for a Housekeeper to work 10am-2pm, Monday to Friday, to carry out day-to-day duties across the nursery, which is located on the first floor of the Coin Street neighbourhood centre in Stamford Street, London SE1. You will have bags of energy and a passion for ensuring all of our children receive the best possible experience. You will be organised and thrive on ensuring the children’s linen is clean and dry, that the toys are sanitised and that the Chef is supported in the kitchen.
With around 85 employees, we’re small and nimble but we have big ambitions and are always exploring and developing new ways to make our offices a great place to work. In return for your hard work as well as a competitive salary you can enjoy a range of benefits including our cycle-to-work scheme, free gym membership, 27 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays (pro-rated for part-time employees), generous pension scheme and much more.
Please note that a DBS check is required for this post and it will be subject to satisfactory disclosures and reference check.
To apply please complete the supporting questions form, attach a copy of your up to date CV and send to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note we reserve the right to close the application process early if we receive enough applications, so we encourage you to apply early.
