Each of our boards is seeking to recruit additional members with relevant values, skills and experience to support the drive towards our strategic goals and ensure our efficiency and effectiveness. Our board members bring a valuable ‘critical friend’ perspective to our work.

Membership of our board brings an exciting and challenging opportunity to play a positive role in an organisation embedded in its community. We particularly encourage applications from Black, Asian and other Minority Ethnic groups, women, and members of the LGBTQ+ community who are currently under-represented on our boards.

We are currently seeking a board member with expertise in HR to strengthen our ability to adapt and transform our ways of working from a people perspective.  You will be able to guide the Board regarding best practice HR process and procedures and reward and recognition; help us deal with change from an HR perspective; and support us in creating a high performing team to enable us to achieve our goals.  The successful candidate will chair the HR&R Committee.  The successful candidate will have specific senior HR management experience and knowledge of one or more areas:

  • HR policies and employment law
  • Employee engagement, reward and recognition
  • Learning and Development
  • Change Management
