Spotlight On: The Concrete Centre
On 19 May 2016 the Concrete Centre hosted their pop up event, ‘Cafe Concrete’ in our recently refurbished Third Floor Suite.
Cafe Concrete was a unique event that comprised inspiration from projects and their designers, information from technical sessions, as well as samples of products and visual concrete finishes to assist architects in designing and construction of visual concrete. The event attracted 350 delegates.
Patience Gatima, Marketing and Communications at The Concrete Centre said: “The main reasons for selecting Coin Street as the temporary home for this new event was the exposed concrete in the building and the great location. In addition, the flexibility of the conference rooms meant that we could create a relaxed, informal environment, where architects and engineers could drop in at any time to collect guidance and attend seminars on design and construction of visual concrete. The staff were also really helpful in working with us to create the right atmosphere and catering solutions to deliver on our aspirations for this event. We thought the venue location worked well for us. It was easy for our target audience to attend their preferred seminar session and return back to work. Also, the we appreciated the flexibility and professionalism of staff.”
