Spotlight on Artswork Conference

Artswork are a National Youth Arts Development Agency and a Registered Charity supported by Arts Council England. Their mission is to place the arts at the heart of work with, for and by children and young people and to champion, lead and facilitate high quality work led by artists, arts and cultural organisations including the development of young arts practitioners/leaders.

On 29 June, the charity hosted their annual conference ‘Better Together: Education| Wellbeing | Arts & Culture’  in our Third Floor Suite with lunch served on our stunning Roof Terrace overlooking London’s beautiful skyline. The day, which was attended by over 150 people, included inspiring speeches from Baroness Estelle Morris of Yardley, Althea Efunshile (Arts Council England) and poet Lemn Sissay, active and engaging workshops, innovative ideas, and thought-provoking case studies. A central location was a key criteria for choosing the venue; situated only a short walk from Waterloo and Blackfriars stations, Coin Street conference centre is perfectly located for a national or international event.
