Coin Street Community Builders has transformed a largely derelict site into a thriving mixed use neighbourhood by creating new co-operative homes; shops, galleries, restaurants, cafes and bars; a park and riverside walkway; sports facilities; and a neighbourhood centre that is home to an ‘outstanding’ family & children’s centre. It has refurbished the iconic Oxo Tower Wharf and works closely with its South Bank and Bankside neighbours to make this one of London’s best-loved areas.
This is a new post. As ‘director of resources’ you will be our chief finance officer and will ensure effective corporate management of resources including people, finance, information technology, procurement, legal, asset and risk management, and other designated central service functions. With our Group director, deputy Group director, and director of community, you will form the leadership team responsible for devising and delivering the Coin Street Group’s corporate strategy.
You will be a qualified accountant with a strong track record of delivering effective financial strategies in organisations with significant revenue and capital budgets. You will have significant knowledge of the other areas for which the director of resources will be responsible. You will be committed to high standards and be able to motivate and inspire staff. You will have highly developed communication, presentational and interpersonal skills, and extensive experience of dealing with a range of stakeholders, including regulators, funders, and professional advisors.
